If you want to set up Ambi Climate in the Home app, then you’ll love this blog post!
You can use Ambi Climate with Homebridge to connect with Apple HomeKit (unofficial support). Want to know more?
Getting Connected with Homebridge
Homebridge is an open source where developers and tech enthusiasts can develop plugins so they and other users can link as yet unsupported products to a HomeKit setup.
That being said, it can take a lot of time and effort, so it’s great when someone else does the hard work for you. Good thing someone has!
Introducing Ambi Bridge App
One enthusiastic Ambi user had the idea of controlling Ambi Climate with Homebridge and ended up writing a native macOS app himself, so you can enjoy the convenience also.
The Ambi Bridge application bridges Ambi Climate AI-enabled air conditioner controllers so you can control your AC with Siri on your iPhone, Mac or HomePod. For example, use Siri to turn your AC off or on. Or, create a scene that includes the AC mode you prefer.

You can still enjoy the benefits of Ambi Climate, including Comfort, Away and Temperature modes, so you don’t have the hassle of choosing the most comfortable and energy saving AC settings yourself.
Pairing Ambi Bridge
There’s no configuration required and its actually very simple to use. Once you have Ambi Climate and the Apple HomeKit feature already set up, all you need to do is install the Ambi Bridge app to run from a Mac in your home and you’re good to start pairing.

Remember, this isn’t an official Ambi app, so for full instructions and support, go directly to the App creator by visiting the Ambi Bridge web page.
Good things come to those who go out and get them
Of course, we love all things innovation so #thumbsup to Guy Brooker, avid Ambi user, and creator of Ambi Bridge. While Guy doesn’t have an official affiliation with Ambi Labs, we think his app is great and we’re sure you will too.
To combine the benefits of Ambi Climate and Apple home automation, purchase the Ambi Bridge app for USD 5.99 and download it from the Mac App Store.
