Now that you've set up your Ambi Climate and connected everything, you're probably wondering - what's next? We're here to make sure you're making the most of all Ambi Climate has to offer!
We've created a number of modes for you to control your comfort and fully utilize your air conditioner, while minimizing your energy costs! Since many of our users are always looking for a go-to guide and FAQ of Ambi Climate modes, we've decided to compile this in one handy blog post you can always turn to for reference.
Accessing the Modes menu is super easy on both iOS and Android - simply tap the Modes button and the menu will pop up!

Comfort Mode

In order to deliver an optimal environment, Ambi Climate needs to learn what is comfortable for you - by using Comfort Mode. This is done with Machine Learning techniques and AI technology, but in order for Ambi Climate to learn, you will need to give feedback about your comfort in different climate conditions and different times. Ambi Climate starts learning from the 3rd feedback onward, but it's best that you provide feedback in different times and weather conditions to enhance your comfort. You can always let Ambi Climate know if your comfort differs from the estimate, by tapping on the comfort status bubble and choosing the status that best depicts what you feel (too cold, a bit warm, etc); over time this can also reduce over-heating and over-cooling issues you may encounter with a traditional remote, since the AI auto adjusts to deliver the optimal temperature. Conditions obviously change when the seasons change, so remember that the more you teach Ambi Climate, the more tailored comfort you will enjoy year-round!
Away Mode

If you're looking for the most helpful mode to control your environment and keep it balanced with as little hassle as possible - Away Mode allows you to adjust and maintain a heating, cooling or drying threshold through the temperature slider in the middle and the AC Settings at the bottom; once you set those, just let Ambi Climate know if you'd like to keep the temperature above or below the desired temperature or the humidity below a certain level - you will see these options on the top left. Ambi Climate's AI minimizes energy costs by switching on the AC only when it is needed to maintain the threshold. Temperature Mode

If you already know which temperature conditions make you feel the best, Temperature Mode is a step further towards a smarter AC; allowing you to select a set target temperature which Ambi Climate can then reach by either lowering or raising your AC's temperature. For example, if you set it to 23°C, Ambi Climate will use its Machine Learning techniques and Artificial Intelligence, to select the best settings to maintain this temperature, taking into account how both your room environment and the performance of your AC are affected by climate changes, such as outdoor temperature, sunlight and more. Based on these factors, the actual temperature of your AC could be higher or lower. Just use the slider to decide which optimal temperature you want to maintain and let Ambi Climate do the rest.
Manual Mode

Finishing off with the most straightforward mode, Manual Mode simply means you can control your AC through the Ambi Climate app without having to use your old-fashioned remote or necessarily being next to the AC or even at home; you'll be able to use your AC just as you would with your normal remote (meaning you can also set the fan, swing and louver using Ambi Climate) without any added AI or smart features. Simply use the slider in the middle to manually set your AC to the desired temperature and go to "AC Settings" for the rest.
We hope this helped clear up any confusion or questions you had regarding the different modes and look forward to seeing what your favorite mode is - let us know in the comments!
